DECOMPOSITION OF WHITE OAT PHENOTYPIC VARIABILITY BY ENVIRONMENTAL COVARIATES

نویسندگان

چکیده

The study aims to quantify the effects of environmental variables on interaction between genotypes x environments and evaluate sensitivity white oat grain yield in 10 years cultivation. experiment took place municipality Augusto Pestana – RS. experimental design used was randomized blocks, being evaluated 26 20 complex environments. Greater phenotypic stability observed for URS 21 genotype, by AMMI GGE methodologies. Corona genotype showed general adaptation, high genetic value predictable variations method reaction norm. Higher minimum air temperature lower medium relative humidity enhance productive performance genotypes. 22, Fapa Slava, IPR Afrodite Estampa express positive responses covariates medium, maximum, humidity, respectively. Relative explains more than 50% biological variation

Insights into xylem vulnerability to cavitation in Fagus sylvatica L.: phenotypic and environmental sources of variability.

Xylem vulnerability to cavitation is a key parameter in understanding drought resistance of trees. We determined the xylem water pressure causing 50% loss of hydraulic conductivity (P(50)), a proxy of vulnerability to cavitation, and we evaluated the variability of this trait at tree and population levels for Fagus sylvatica. We checked for the effects of light on vulnerability to cavitation of...
